Treck to the sea

Description

This year the Special Teenagers takes us to the sea. The departure of our trek takes place in our riding farm in the area of Mirepoix, a beautiful mediéval village where life is so pleasant. We will ride through the Cathar pathes. Along our trip all the dizzy citadels will remind us a great period of history. We end our trip by the seaside on desert beaches with the invitation for crazy gallops.

Planning

Saturday

Reception of the riders in Mirepoix. Night in hotel or gite.

Sunday

Mirepoix (gîte ou hôtel) – Puivert (Gîte)
A rolling stage along the valley of Hers just before the valley of Puivert where we breath the mediterranean fragrances.

Monday

Puivert –Granes (Gîte)
Visit of Puivert castle by horse. We pass through the valley of Aude and ascent the hills towards the gite in Granes.

Tuesday

Granes – Le Bouchard (Gîte)
We pass by the Pic of Adultes, have a pic nic by the lake then visit the reserve of Bouchard among the deers, the stags and the boars

Wednesday

Le Bouchard – Cucugnan (Gîte)
Descent to Cubières above the Gorges of Galamus, passing at the foot of Peyrepertuse castle (visit is possible), arrival in Cucugnan at the gîte.

Thursday

Cucugnan – château d’Aguilar (Bivouac)
Ride in the Corbières, Quéribus castle, bivouac in the middle of the Corbières, wine tasting in the evening.

Friday

Château d’Aguilar – La Franqui (Hôtel or gîte)
Arrival at the sea

Samedi

Gallops on the beach then transfer et departure from La Franqui.

Transfer and reception in Mirepoix in Ariège.
